Was under the Arch de Triomphe one evening and caught the light just right. Decide to take some close ups. This one in on the inside just below the roof terrace. Somehow this face matches the mood of post-election France.

On the Rue de Rosiers in front of the L’Aus du Falafel on a Sunday morning there are thousands of people walking around. In the middle of all this there was this woman (Eastern European?) asking for change to be placed in her small paper espresso cup. Most people avoid all eye contact but this older man decided to stop, face the woman, and look her straight in the face. They got into a short debate but the lady just kept smirking insisting he put some money in her cup. I kept wondering what he was thinking at this moment.
Love this corridor in the Paris airport. It’s looks like some internal launch tube on the Death Star or something….
Walking from Place Vendome to the Opera and back down to Louvre came into the view of the Hôtel du Louvre and popped this shot with the Parisien taxi.
At the top of the Champs-Elysees I ran into a crowd watching a group of street performers. They were doing their thing to some 80′s beats. Shot this photo because I thought the name of the group was great. They were full of their bad-selves.
I was walking around the Place de l’Opéra where this sign had been posted to the lamp post. Apparently somebody isn’t on board with the national motto of France.
… I was walking down Avenue Montaigne in Paris looking to cut over to the Seine – this street is home to several high end shops and parked right on the sidewalk was this killer purple harley davidson. I imagine the owner was out grocery shopping for some eggs and milk before heading home and probably just needed to pick up something quick from Gucci :-) - I was half expecting Prince to walk out and get on this thing.
On a trip to Paris last year I took some free time to head over to Rue Saint-Honoré to pay a visit to Colette, one of the better retail shops of Europe where you can find unique clothes, gifts etc…. This is a great street full of great stores, cafes, and people. It’s not too far from the Place Vendôme. If you’re looking for a cool spot to hit next time you’re in Paris, check out Colette.
